frequently asked questions

  • If you aren’t sure of a fursona or character design, we can help with that! You can order a custom reference sheet via our Art Commissions page in which you will work with our artist, Kaluna, to determine the species, colors, and other features. She can help you decide or make it up for you if you have no idea what you want!

  • A reference sheet, also know as a “ref”, is a piece of artwork of your character, showing multiple views and potentially close ups, to help show artists and makers what you look like! This helps us know what species, body type, colors, markings, etc to use for you. For fursuits this needs to be full body, not shaded, and ideally three views but no less than two (front and back).

  • A badge is a custom piece of artwork of your character, including the characters name. Laminated and with a badge clip, these artworks are designed to be worn by you when walking around a convention, fur meet, or when wearing your fursuit. Like a name tag, it shows off your character name and design in a convenient format.

  • Yes we do take payment plans! Check out our TOS for more details.

  • Yes! We will make pretty much anything you can think of! We love trying new things and taking on big challenges. Throw us your biggest, wildest ideas and we will help you figure out how it can be real!

  • Yes! Our heads are full lined with comfy neoprene, the lining is secured to to the eye sockets, mouth lining, and neck fur with discreet hidden stitching for a seamless look and feel.

  • By default our handpaws only have lining where there is stuffing in the design. For five fingered paws there is none so they have no lining. Four fingered paws have lining only in the back of the fingers. Plush paws have lining along the whole back side of the paw. Lining can be added per request at an extra cost. Lining in hands in not standard for us because it adds undue heat and interferes with the bodies natural ability to cool through the hands. It also makes it very hard to put the paws back on once they are sweaty. If you have sensory issues we recommend wearing lycra gloves so that you can change them out and wash them between wearings.

  • Digitigrade legs, also known as “digi legs”, are a style of fursuit legs designed to give the illusion of standing in a digitigrade manner. That is, on toes instead of flat footed. This is how many animals naturally are, so giving your fursuit this style of legs can give a really cool animal look! This is achieved with padding on the calves and thighs, as well as a special type of foot paws. Other padded leg styles include unguligrade (on toe tip, as in hooved animals) and padded plantigrade (large thigh hocks and extra long feet, think Zootopia style).

  • Our fursuits are designed to be machine washable, and as such, they are safe to fully submerge. There are inherent risks to the wearer if worn while swimming so please use caution if you intend to swim in your fursuit. However, there are little to no risks to the suit with water. In the case of suits with electronics, please ask us for more details but in most instances, you can simply remove your battery and fan, and still safely submerge the suit. Please be sure to thoroughly wash suits if they get wet, whether from sweat or water. Please refer to our Care Guide for proper washing instructions. If fully submerged a full spin cycle is recommended, this expedites the drying process. We also recommend a high power carpet fan. If proper precautions and after care are followed, there should be no damage to your suit!

  • Indoor feet have soft, furred bottoms with either pawpads or hoof details, etc depending on your species. They are intended only for clean, indoor settings. The detail and softness is desirable for some people for photoshoots and full character immersion. Outdoor feet have durable rubber soling instead of fur and detailing. They can be worn outdoors, on cement and asphalt, and around dirty convention spaces with no worries about damaging your costume. If you intend to do a lot of hiking or walking on gravel, we can do extra heavy duty soling per request.
